22.2. Care of a bodyRegularly check a body condition. Otherwise corrosion of separate sites of a body can lead to its strong damage and further – to expensive repair. It is necessary to pay attention to the latent parts of the car, for example, to the bottom, arches of wheels and the bottom part of a motor compartment, and also to body parts under an upholstery. A basic element of care of a body is the sink. Wash a body with a considerable quantity of water a soft sponge or a brush. It is impossible to wash a varnish covering with a stream with a strong pressure. Pour over the car from a hose and смойте a dirt from top to down. Often rinse a sponge. Wipe the car pure rags. Preservation

There is also other possibility of protection of varnish coverings – by means of washing preservatives. However washing preservatives provide reliable protection of varnish coverings only in the event that are used at each sink of the car and is not more rare than in 2–3 weeks.

The prevention
Preservation cannot be spent on the open sun.
Polishing
Polishing of a varnish surface is necessary only in the event that it has faded owing to insufficient leaving, influence of the dust, harmful gases, weather conditions and preserving means cannot restore its shine.
It is not necessary to apply rough polishing pastes and chemically active polishing means, despite preliminary good results.
Before polishing the car is necessary for washing up and carefully to dry up. Further to adhere to the instruction on use of polishing means.
It is necessary to polish with small sites in order to avoid premature drying of polish. After surface processing by some polishing means additional preservation is necessary. It is forbidden to polish on the open sun. Matte varnish surfaces cannot be processed preserving and polishing means.
Removal of bitumen stains
Bitumen stains quickly get into varnish coverings, and to remove them completely already it is impossible. Fresh stains can be deduced moistened in a special liquid for deducing of bitumen stains by a soft rag. In case of emergency it is necessary to use usual gasoline, kerosene or turpentine.
Removal of insects
Insects contain substances which can damage a varnish film if them quickly not to remove. Use weak slightly warm soap either washing solution or special means for removal of insects.
Care of details from artificial materials
From an imitation leather, a headlight, and also the details painted in matte black colour, it is possible to wash plastic details, seats with water with addition of special washing-up liquids. It is not recommended to wet. Plastic details can be processed if necessary special cleaners. Not to use at all nitrosolvent or gasoline.
Care of rubber consolidations
Condensing or sliding surfaces periodically to strew talc or to spray silicone аэрозолью. It will keep their elasticity and will exclude a scratch at closing of doors. To eliminate unpleasant sounds it is possible, having wiped adjoining surfaces liquid soap.
Disks of wheels

It is not recommended to dry belts at temperature from above 80 С and on the open sun.
