22.13. A cable of opening of the lock of a cowl

The arrangement of a cable and elements of its fastening are shown on fig. 16–11.
Removal
In car salon from outside the driver turn away screws and remove from the panel of devices a decorative bottom overlay. Unscrew two bolts and remove the handle of opening of a cowl 2 (fig. 16–11 see) together with an arm. Disconnect a cable from the handle of opening of a cowl.
Loosen the the screw of fastening of a clip 6 cables of the lock of a cowl.
Disconnect a cable of the lock of a cowl from a connector 4.
Release fastenings of a cover of a cable in a motor compartment, take a cable from a partition of a motor compartment and remove it from the car.
Installation
Installation is spent to sequences, return to removal.
Cable in a motor compartment establish without a preliminary tension.
