The bottom and top casings of a steering column are shown on fig. 16–45.
Removal
Before a detachment of the storage battery find out, whether there is at you a code of inclusion of a radio receiver.
Switch off ignition and disconnect a wire of "weight" from the storage battery.

Turn away two screws of fastening and remove the top casing of a steering column (fig. 16–46).
Establish wheels of the car for movement directly forward.

Key unscrew bolts Torx of fastening of a pillow the safety located on each side from the back party of a steering wheel (fig. 14–2 see).
The prevention
The electric socket of a spiral of a steering wheel should not be disconnected at steering wheel removal.
Incline back a safety pillow, disconnect an electric socket and remove a pillow.
Disconnect an electric socket from a steering wheel spiral.
Unscrew a nut (or a bolt) and remove the helmsman a wheel.
Having pulled on itself, remove an overlay of the bottom casing.

On models with mechanical adjustment of position of a steering column turn away screws 1 (fig. 16–47) and remove the handle of adjustment of position of a steering column.
Turn away screws 7 and 8 and remove the bottom casing of a steering column.
On models with electric adjustment of position of a steering column disconnect an electric socket from the switch of adjustment of position of a steering column. Unscrew bolts of fastening of the switch and remove it.
Installation
Installation is spent to sequences, return to removal.
