22.1. The general data
The body represents a design based on a powerful skeleton and simple, without a deep extract, stamped aluminium sheets.
The body includes zones смятия at collision ahead and behind with a safety cell in the car centre.
The forward bumper absorbs energy from front blow till the speed of 8 km/h and thus gets into condition. At front blow on higher speed energy of blow is perceived by longitudinal amplifiers of a body with variable degree of deformation on length. At repair it is possible to replace the deformed part of amplifiers, without using welding.
At blow in a back part of a body with a speed to 15 km/h energy is absorbed completely also by a getting into condition back bumper.
At blow in a back part of a body with a speed to 50 km/h the luggage carrier is deformed only, thus doors are not got jammed.
Amplifiers from composit materials protect the bodies built in a skeleton from lateral blows.
Almost all knots and details of the equipment of a body can be established and removed by means of a usual set of the tool. At dismantling and assemblage it is necessary to accept special safety measures not to damage consolidations and the anticorrosive covering put on manufacturer.
Body repair is recommended to spend in specialised workshops where can replace wings fastening by bolts, the forward panel, doors, a cowl, a luggage carrier cover, and also the big panels – a roof and sidewallsы.
Before the beginning of works with the panel of devices, дверьми or any devices of an electric equipment remove a wire of "weight" from the storage battery.
At carrying out of the welding and other works connected with strong искровыделением near to the storage battery, necessarily remove the storage battery.
It is forbidden to spend welding, a firm and soft soldering of details of the filled conditioner. It concerns and those elements of the car which welding can cause a warming up of details of the conditioner. At carrying out of repair-painting works in сушильной to the chamber or in a zone of its warming up the temperature should not exceed +80 °С.
Before a detachment of a wire of "weight" from the storage battery be convinced that you know a correct code of the receiver which restores its working capacity. If after connection of a wire of "weight" to enter a wrong code the receiver will be disconnected.
To keep reliability of connection with "weight" and to prevent damage owing to corrosion, it is not necessary to disconnect wires from a body. Disconnect wires only from the storage battery, the engine or a transmission.
Before joining of wires smooth out all contacts. Be convinced of reliability of connections of wires with "weight".
