22.9. Check of the shock-absorber of blowRemove a bumper.
Unscrew bolts or nuts and remove the shock-absorber of blow from the car.
At carving damage it is possible to replace the carving plug of the shock-absorber of blow.
Visually check up the blow shock-absorber on absence of damages and liquid leaks.
Measure length and a mobile part of the shock-absorber of blow which should be equal (1261) mm (fig. 16–7).

On an attrition trace check up size of a course of a mobile part of the shock-absorber of blow which should be no more than 30 mm.
If there are doubts in serviceability of the shock-absorber of blow conduct standard test as follows. Put a label on a mobile part of the shock-absorber of blow, on distance of 45 mm from its case. A press compress the blow shock-absorber as far as possible. After the compression termination the mobile part of the shock-absorber of blow should leave the case for former length no more than for 10 minutes If time exceeds 10 mines, the blow shock-absorber is faulty also it it is necessary to replace.
