22.33. A windscreen cleanerRemoval of levers of a screen wiper
Moisten a windscreen with water, then switch on and off a screen wiper so that its lever has occupied a starting position.
Remove a wire of "weight" from the storage battery.
Remove screen wiper brushes.
Thin edge of a screw-driver remove a casing in the basis of the lever of a screen wiper.

On some turns unscrew a nut of 1 fastening of the lever of a screen wiper (fig. 16–76).
Moving the screen wiper lever here and there, loosen the its landing to axes, then unscrew a nut and remove the screen wiper lever.
Removal of the engine of a cleaner of a windscreen
Remove rubber consolidation from the panel of an upholstery of a cowl.
Remove the left plastic panel of the engine of a screen wiper.

Turn away two screws 1 (fig. 16–77) and a bolt 2; having pulled forward, remove the panel of an upholstery of a cowl from two holders 6.
Disconnect a hose 5 from snuffled washers 4 and remove the panel of an upholstery of a cowl from the car.
Unscrew bolts 2 (fig. 16–76 see) fastenings of the mechanism of a cleaner of a windscreen.
Disconnect an electric socket from the screen wiper engine.
Remove the mechanism of a screen wiper from the car.
Installation of the engine of a cleaner of a windscreen
At installation of the new engine of a screen wiper establish it in a starting position. For this purpose connect to the screen wiper engine an electric socket, and "a weight" wire – to a battery accumulator room. Quickly switch on and off screen wipers. Thus the screen wiper engine will be established in a starting position. Remove a wire of "weight" from the storage battery and disconnect from the screen wiper electric motor an electric socket.
Establish the mechanism of a cleaner of a windscreen into place and connect to the screen wiper engine an electric socket.
Fix the mechanism of a cleaner of a windscreen bolts, having tightened their moment 6 Нм.
Connect a hose to washer nozzles.
Establish on holders the panel of an upholstery of a cowl and fix its screws and a bolt.
Establish rubber consolidation.

Establish the screen wiper lever in such position that the brush of a cleaner of a windscreen settled down on a windscreen label (fig. 16–78).
Fix levers of a screen wiper nuts, having tightened their moment 16 Нм.
Establish decorative caps on nuts of fastening of levers of screen wipers.
Check up a corner of installation of the lever of a screen wiper and if necessary adjust it.
Check of an angle of slope of the lever of a screen wiper
The prevention
Check of an angle of slope of the lever of a screen wiper is necessary for spending at bad clearing of glass or noise at work of brushes.
Switch on and off screen wipers, thus screen wiper levers will occupy in a starting position. Remove screen wiper brushes.

The lever 2 (fig. 16–79) a screen wiper insert into tool HAZET 4851–1 or VW 3358 and fix a bolt.
In need of adjustment, being careful, a wrench 1 turn tool VW 3358 until the arrow on a scale will not be established on demanded value.
Remove tool VW 3358, establish and fix screen wiper brushes.
