21.17. Cables of a lay brakeRemoval
Lift the car on the lift and remove back wheels.
On all-wheel drive cars remove back section of system of release.

Note a flange relative positioning карданного a shaft and a flange of the main reverse gear and unscrew fastening bolts карданного a shaft to the main reverse gear (fig. 15–38).
Unscrew screws and remove the central thermofilter (fig. 15–38 see).

Special key 3343 weaken an adjusting nut of fastening of the jack on draught of the lever of a lay brake (fig. 15–34 see).
Remove cables of a lay brake from the jack.
Take out the springs fixing covers of cables of a lay brake (fig. 15–34 see).

Take a cover of a cable of a lay brake from an arm and move a cable to a back part (fig. 15–39 see).
Do not unscrew a bolt of fastening of the shock-absorber to the cross-section lever of a back suspension bracket (fig. 15–39 see).

Release the left cable of a lay brake from a clamp 1 (fig. 15–40) and, moving it back, take from a directing tube 2.
Release the right cable of a lay brake from clamps 4 and 5 and, moving it back, take from a directing tube 3.
Installation
Installation is spent to sequences, return to removal, taking into account the following.
Tighten fastening bolts карданного a shaft to the main reverse gear the moment 55 Нм.
Check up, that the system has been established freely, without pressure, with a sufficient backlash from body elements.
