21.9. Replacement back brake pads

Elements of the back brake mechanism are resulted on fig. 15–16.
Removal
Lift a back part of the car and fix on supports.
Necessarily replace all pads on one axis of the car even if one of them is worn out only.

Unscrew bolts of fastening of a support, keeping from проворачивания directing finger (fig. 15–17). Remove a support and a soft wire tie up a support to a back suspension bracket. The brake support should not hang on a brake hose. The brake hose should not stretch or be overwound.
If old pads will repeatedly establish, mark them.
Take brake pads from a support.
Clear a support of a dust and a dirt.
Installation
At installation new brake pads it is necessary to screw in the piston in a support. At ввинчивании the piston the brake liquid is superseded from the brake cylinder in a broad tank, therefore constantly supervise level of a brake liquid in a tank, if necessary pump out a liquid from a tank.

For ввинчивания the piston in the cylinder it is necessary to use the tool 3272. Establish the tool so that its fillet has entered into piston grooves. Rotate the case of the special tool counter-clockwise against the stop. Rotating the handle of the special tool clockwise, screw in the piston in a support (fig. 15–18).
In the absence of the special tool screw in the piston in a support, using angular flat-nose pliers for lock rings.
Establish brake pads in the holder of a support, thus watch, that press springs settled down vertically. If are established old pads, be convinced that they are established the same as and before removal.
Establish a support, screw in a new bolt of fastening of a directing finger and tighten its moment 35 Нм. To each complete set brake pads put on one new bolt for each support.
Establish back wheels and lower the car.
Check up level of a brake liquid and if necessary finish it to the normal.
Press a brake pedal that pads have occupied working position.
