1.9. A lay brakeFor inclusion of a lay brake with effort pull upwards the lever of a lay brake. In the presence of the big bias of road it is necessary to include in addition the first transfer or to establish a mode of lay blocking of an automatic transmission. The lever of a lay brake always is necessary for lifting against the stop that then to exclude movement with the lever of a lay brake not completely lowered through an oversight.

To switch off a lay brake, pull the lever upwards a little, press the blocking button (fig. 1–28) and completely lower the lever downwards.
