The device of a forward brake is shown on fig. 15–8.

Removal
Necessarily replace all pads on one axis of the car even if one is worn out only колодка. Brake pads are equipped by the deterioration indicator. If the thickness brake pads becomes less than 3 mm, in a combination of devices the control lamp lights up.
If old brake pads will be established again, before removal they are necessary for marking.
Loosen the bolts of fastening of a forward wheel, then lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports. Unscrew bolts of fastening and remove a wheel.
Fix a brake disk, having screwed in one bolt of fastening of a wheel.

Unscrew two bolts of fastening external brake pads (fig. 15–9).

By means of the edge of a screw-driver inserted between a support and external brake pads, press pistons into a support, thus move a support outside (fig. 15–10). At piston cave-in the brake liquid is superseded from the brake cylinder in a broad tank, therefore constantly supervise liquid level in a tank, and if necessary pump out from a tank a small amount.
Remove external brake pads from a support.
Disconnect an electric socket of the gauge of deterioration brake pads and take a wire from an arm in a support. For this purpose a screw-driver edge squeeze out the rubber plug with a wire from an arm and turn it on 90 at first in one, then in other party.

Remove internal brake pads from a support.

Installation
Do not press a brake pedal at removed brake колодках.
Clear a dust and a dirt from a support, and from edge of a brake disk – a rust. If pads are suitable to the further operation, clear their wire brush and rags.
Check up a brake disk on presence of cracks, especially round apertures under bolts of fastening of a wheel, and also with presence of deterioration or mechanical damages and if necessary replace it.
Measure a thickness of a brake disk.
Establish top internal brake pad with the deterioration gauge in a support of a forward brake. Fix brake pad in the support piston. Fix a wire of the gauge of deterioration in a support arm.
Move a support of a forward brake from the car how much it probably. Remove a protective film from a sticky layer external brake pads and establish them on a support, thus brake колодка should be fixed a spring.
On brake колодке the arrow is put. It should coincide with a direction of rotation of a disk at car movement forward. Otherwise at work brake pads will publish extraneous noise.
Fix a floating support new bolts, having tightened their moment 25 Нм.
Unscrew a bolt of fastening of a wheel, securing the a brake disk. Establish a wheel and lower the car on the earth. Having cleared ridge heads of a bolt, tighten bolts of fastening of a wheel the moment 120 Нм.
Similarly replace brake pads on the second forward wheel.
Some times press a brake pedal that brake pads have nestled on a brake disk.
Check up level of a brake liquid in a tank, if necessary add.
After installation new brake pads avoid sharp braking the first 200 km of run of the car.
