21.11. Repair of forward support HP-2

Details of forward support HP–2 are shown on fig. 15–23.
Notes
Both parts of the case скобы a support are connected by bolts to internal shaped deepening and are not subject to dismantling. At damage of protective covers of directing fingers it is necessary to replace them with the new.
Sealing rings act in film with use of an assembly wedge, and are established by a hand.
Clear of a dust and a dirt a support, thus do not inhale risen dust.
Fix a support in a vice. For piston extraction submit air under low pressure to the brake cylinder through an aperture for connection of a brake hose. From outside one piston establish the special adaptation for cave-in of the piston which will keep the piston on a place, and from outside the second piston establish wooden брусок.

Remove wooden брусок and cautiously take the piston. Accurately, not to damage a cylinder wall take out consolidation from a flute of the cylinder of a support an assembly wedge or an edge of a flat screw-driver as the lever (fig. 15–24).
Check up a cylinder and piston condition. In the presence of scratches, рисок, deterioration or dot corrosion replace the piston and the cylinder. Irrespective of a condition replace rubber consolidations.
Wash out all details in methyl spirit or a pure brake liquid and wipe them.

Apply a thin film greasings G 052 150 А2 on a sealing ring and the piston (fig. 15–21 see).
Establish a dustproof cover on the piston so that internal diameter of a cover was included into a piston flute.

Establish the piston opposite to the cylinder of a support and by means of the special adaptation insert a working edge of a dustproof cover into a support before its fixing (fig. 15–25).
The special adaptation or the hammer handle press the piston into the support cylinder.
After piston installation blow air the cylinder and fill with its fresh brake liquid.
In need of replacement of the second piston repeat operations on extraction and installation of the piston of a support, at piston extraction establish wooden брусок from outside the second piston.
