24.39. Check of a heater of back glassThe heater of back glass represents set of the horizontal conductors which have been raised dust on an internal surface of back glass.
For detection of rupture of a conductor of a heater of back glass include ignition and the switch of a heater of back glass.

Connect one conclusion of the voltmeter to "weight" of the car, and the second conclusion wrap up a foil and move on a heater conductor (fig. 18–68).

Connect a voltmeter conclusion in the centre of each conductor of a heater of back glass. If the voltmeter shows pressure nearby 5 In, means, the heater conductor is serviceable. If pressure on the voltmeter 0 or 12 In – the heater conductor is broken off (fig. 18–69).

For detection of a place of rupture of a conductor of a heater connect one conclusion of the voltmeter to a positive conclusion of a heater, and the second – move on a heater conductor from outside a negative conclusion of a heater. The point in which the pressure shown by the voltmeter, will go down to zero, is a place of rupture of a conductor of a heater (fig. 18–70).
