24.35. A radio receiverThe radio receiver established at factory is equipped by a pocket thanks to which process of its removal and installation is facilitated.
At removal of a wire of "weight" from the storage battery memory of electronic blocks of management and a radio receiver is erased.
The standard equipment of the car includes a radio receiver with the coded antijoy ride device which is executed on the basis of the microprocessor. After switching-off of a radio receiver from an onboard network of the car (removal of the storage battery, a radio receiver or initial installation of a radio receiver) is necessary to enter a safety code. The radio receiver can be included only after input of a correct code.
Before removal of a wire of "weight" from the storage battery check up, whether there is at you a radio receiver code. In the absence of a safety code to place in operation a radio receiver it is possible only at specialised servicing deport Audi.
The individual code of safety of a radio receiver contains in the engineering specifications put to the car at sale.

For radio receiver removal it is necessary to use two special keys 3344 (fig. 18–63).
Insert two keys into the narrow cracks located from two parties of a radio receiver, before fixing of keys. Inscriptions on keys should be located from above. The key with an inscription Top L should be established on the left side, and with an inscription Top R – on the right side of a radio receiver.

For heads of keys take out a radio receiver from a nest (fig. 18–64), trying not to warp and not to pull it aside.
Disconnect from a radio receiver electric sockets speakerов and aerials, and also a multicontact socket of giving of pressure to a radio receiver. If for connection multicontact sockets are used not, before a detachment of sockets mark them.
Installation
Remove special keys from a radio receiver.
Connect electric sockets to a back part of a radio receiver.
Insert a radio receiver into a nest of the panel of devices to защелкивания spring clamps.
Connect "a weight" wire to the storage battery.
After radio receiver installation enter a safety code.
