1.7. SeatsForward seats
Correct installation of seats is necessary for maintenance:
– Access to controls;
– Comfortablenesses of a trip;
– Peak efficiency of action of seat belts and safety pillows.
Seat of the driver
The seat of the driver is recommended to be established as follows:
– Position of a seat in a longitudinal plane to adjust so that pedals could be squeezed out the feet completely slightly bent in knees;
– Position of a back of a seat to adjust so that the back completely adjoined to a back, and the top point of a steering wheel could be got hands slightly bent in elbows.
The prevention
On a floor before a seat of the driver it is impossible to have any subjects as in case of emergency braking or even small blow they can appear under a pedal that will complicate driving or will lead to road accident.
Seat of the forward passenger
The seat of the forward passenger is recommended to be established as follows:
– Position of a back of a seat is close to the vertical;
– Feet stand on the floor conveniently, at this seat, how much it is possible, is shifted back.
Forward seats (manual adjustment)
The prevention
For safety to regulate seats it is necessary only on the motionless car.
On fig. 1–15 possible adjustments of a seat are shown.
1 – seat adjustment in a longitudinal direction.
To extend the handle upwards and to shift a seat. Then to release the handle and a little more to advance a seat before clamp operation.
2 – seat adjustment on height.
Having risen from a seat pillow, move the handle 2 upwards; take places on a seat more conveniently, establish the demanded height of a pillow of a seat and release the handle.
3 – adjustment of an inclination of a back of a seat.
By pressing the switch upwards the seat back deviates back.
By pressing the switch downwards the seat back deviates forward.
The prevention
The back of a seat during movement cannot be inclined too strongly back as it essentially reduces efficiency of action of seat belts.
Forward seats (with the adjustment electric drive)
Position of seats with the electric drive regulate by means of switches And and In (fig. 1–16). The switch With provides adjustment подпора in lumbar area, and switch D – height of installation of a headrest.
Adjustment can be carried out and at the switched off ignition.
Seat position regulate pressing of the switch And in directions on arrows:
1 – forward / back;
2 – a forward plane of a seat upwards / downwards;
3 – a back plane of a seat upwards / downwards;
2, 3 simultaneously – on height.
Position of a back of a seat and height of installation of headrests regulate pressing (in directions on arrows) the switch In:
– Forward: a back deviation back;
– Back: a back deviation forward;
– Upward: headrest lifting;
– Downwards: headrest lowering.
By pressing of the disk switch About a part of a back of a seat in the field of a waist becomes more or less curved. Regulating подпор, it is necessary to find optimum position of a support for a spine column that will allow to avoid weariness at long trips.
Подпор it is regulated on height (above / more low) and on size (curved / flat).
For adjustment of height of the top fastening of seat belt D it is necessary to press the top or bottom key and, keeping it before moving скобы a belt upwards or downwards, to achieve such position of a belt that its humeral branch passed through the shoulder middle (at all through a throat).
For the best position of a belt on forward seats it is possible to adjust seat position on height.
Memory of positions of a driver's seat
Gives the chance to remember four individual adjustments of position of a seat, a steering column, external mirrors and headrests.
At change of the driver by pressing of a key of a seat the steering column, external mirrors and height of installation of a headrest will automatically occupy earlier adjusted positions.
The memory works and at the switched off ignition.
For record and a conclusion of the data it is necessary to press the corresponding button ON/OFF in position ON.
Storing of adjustments
Adjust seat position.
Establish height of headrests.
Adjust position of both external mirrors.
Establish position of a steering column.
Press a key memory Memory and, keeping a key, press one of four buttons of memory.
Release a key memory Memory.
The given adjustments are brought in a memory under the key chosen by you.
Notes
It is recommended to begin filling of memory with the left key and to specify to each other driver its key.
At entering of new adjustments into a memory from memory former adjustments on this key are erased.
At a detachment of the storage battery from an onboard network all adjustments of a seat brought in memory and external mirrors are erased.
The coordination of a key of remote radio management with memory keys
That the adjustments brought in memory could be caused also by means of remote control, it is necessary to co-ordinate a key of remote control with each key of memory.
Is recommended one of two keys of remote control applied on the new car to co-ordinate with 1st key of memory, and other key – with 2nd key.
Open a door of the driver. Insert into the lock of an open door a key with infra-red radiation. Close all doors of the car except for a door of the driver.
Press a key on which the key should be programmed. At the pressed key give a key a short infra-red signal – the car will open. Release a key.
Forward armrest
The armrest can occupy some positions.
For installation of position of an armrest press a key in an end face of an armrest And, cast away an armrest downwards and release a key. Then lift an armrest until it will not occupy desirable position.
At an armrest inclination freedom of movement of a hand, therefore its such position downwards can be limited it is not recommended at movement in city conditions.
Back seat
Switches And and In it is possible to regulate подпор in lumbar area and height of installation of headrests.

To the greatest degree safety requirements are answered with such position of a headrest at which its top edge is at level of eyes or above.
Headrests
To adjust headrest position, clasp its both hands from sides and shift upwards or downwards (fig. 1–23).
For headrest removal pull it upwards against the stop and, having pressed the button (in an arrow direction), take out a headrest.
For headrest installation move headrest rods into directing apertures before the click testifying to inclusion of a clamp (fig. 1–24).
Cover for transportation of lengthy luggage
The cover for transportation of lengthy luggage, for example skis, protects it from pollution, and car salon – from damages.
Cover loading
The cover for lengthy luggage should be loaded from outside a luggage space.
Cast away forward an average armrest in a back part of salon.
Откроите a luggage carrier also release its middle from luggage subjects.
Press a key (fig. 1–25) unblockings of a cover of the device for cover loading.
Take out a cover, spread out it and unzip.
Take out from the holder of a cover a seat belt uvula.
Move through a luggage space into salon of a ski or other long subjects.
After loading reliably fix a cover.
