3.1. The general data
On cars establish six-cylinder V-shaped engines with liquid cooling. The engine have in a motor compartment it is longitudinal. Engine cylinders are cast from grey pig-iron for a single whole with the block of cylinders. Heads of the block of cylinders are made of an easy alloy and fasten to the block of cylinders bolts. The water pump is located in a forward part of the engine and put in action by a gear belt. Keep in mind that the system of cooling of the engine should be filled all year long by a mix of antifreeze and water with the low maintenance to exhaust.
Preparation and ignition топливовоздушной mixes in engine cylinders is carried out by a control system of the engine which does not demand adjustments while in service. The corner of an advancing of ignition and frequency of rotation of idling are regulated by a control system of the engine. At maintenance service carrying out it is necessary to replace spark plugs and filtering element of the air filter.
The radiator fan can join after a stop of the engine and ignition deenergizing, therefore at work on the hot engine be careful. That the radiator fan has not joined, disconnect an electric socket from the electric motor of the fan of a radiator.
