3.7. A frictional overlay

Note position of a frictional overlay concerning the engine.
Turn out bolts and remove a frictional overlay.

Establish a frictional overlay with a washer 2 (fig. 3.1–66) and a basic washer in 1 thickness of 3 or 4 mm.

Screw in not less than three old bolts of fastening of a flywheel and tighten their moment 30 Н·м. Measure distance and (fig. 3.1–67) from a flange of the engine to a face surface of a flywheel which for an automatic transmission should be equal 18,1–19,7 mm.
If the distance does not correspond demanded, establish under a flywheel a washer of other thickness. After achievement of the necessary size replace bolts of fastening of a flywheel on new and tighten their demanded moment.

If it is necessary to replace the needle bearing in a back end face of a cranked shaft, use special tool Kukko 22/1 and Kukko 21/1 (fig. 3.1–68). Establish the special tool on a back end face of a cranked shaft and выпрессуйте the needle bearing.
For запрессовки the new needle bearing use the mandrel 3264.
