3.15. A camshaftRemoval
Remove a gear belt from pulleys of camshafts.
Uncover heads of the block of cylinders.
Turn away two bolts and remove the case of the gauge from the back party of the left head of the block of cylinders.
Remove a camshaft pulley.
Note position of covers of bearings of a camshaft.

First of all unscrew nuts and remove covers of 2 and 3 bearings of a camshaft (fig. 3.1–89).
Gradually on a diagonal loosen the nuts of fastening of a cover of 1 and 4 bearings of a camshaft also remove covers.
Remove a camshaft.
Installation
Installation is spent to sequences, return to removal, taking into account the following.

Keep in mind that covers of bearings are asymmetrical, therefore before camshaft installation define their correct position (fig. 3.1–90)
Grease with a thin layer of engine oil a camshaft and establish it in a head of the block of cylinders.
Establish covers of 1 and 4 bearings of a camshaft and fix nuts, tightening them gradually on a diagonal.
Establish other covers of bearings of a camshaft and fix their nuts.
Establish a gear belt.
Establish a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
Wait approximately 30 minutes before engine start-up. It is necessary that there was a stabilisation of work of hydraulic pushers, differently pistons will hit about valves.
