18.8. The back shock-absorberRemoval
Remove a back wheel.

Using special adaptation V.A.G 1752/1 for compression of springs, serially compress springs of a back suspension bracket and remove them (fig. 12–18). At use of the special adaptation for compression of springs watch, that, spring coils were reliably grasped, spring compression make from opposite sides.
The spring has very big effort of compression, therefore use only very reliable tool.
Remove protection of an arch of a back wheel.

Jack with adaptation V.A.G established on it 1359/2 raise bottom трапецеидальный the lever (fig. 12–19).
Unscrew a bolt 2 and nuts of fastening of 1 back shock-absorber and take the shock-absorber from under the car.
Installation
Installation is spent to sequences, return to removal, taking into account the following.
Bolts of the bottom fastening of the shock-absorber definitively tighten after a raising a jack bottom трапецеидального the lever before shock-absorber compression on 40–50 mm.

Establish a spring so that the bottom coil of a spring was precisely combined with deepenings of the bottom support of a spring (fig. 12–20).
