4.6. The klapannyj mechanism

Turn a cranked shaft for a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft in a direction of working rotation before installation of one of cams of a camshaft ledges upwards and check up a backlash between a cam and a hydraulic pusher. The backlash should be within 0,10–0,20 mm.
Otherwise remove a camshaft and a pusher. Remove the jack, measure its thickness and choose the jack of a necessary thickness.

Example
The measured backlash – 0,30 mm
Nominal backlash – 0,15 mm
Difference – 0,15 mm
It is necessary to establish the jack on 0,15 mm more thickly.
