11.3. System of release of the fulfilled gases

The system of release of the fulfilled gases serves for tap of the fulfilled gases in atmosphere, prevention of their hit in car salon even in a minimum quantity and decrease in noise of the engine. That the release system normally worked, it should be in good repair. The condition of system of release of the fulfilled gases influences also capacity of the engine and the fuel expense.

Notes
Always replace linings and self-locking nuts.
After service and repair of system of release check up, that the system has been established freely, without pressure, with a sufficient backlash concerning body elements.

For simplification of unscrewing in the subsequent nuts and bolts, крепящих system, grease with their high-temperature paste Liqui Moly LM–508–ASC.
Before repeated installation of elements of system of release clear their junction an emery paper of the hermetic and rust rests.
The connecting element in a forward exhaust pipe should not be bent more than on 10 , otherwise it will be damaged.
Back and central mufflers are executed in the form of the uniform block, however it is possible to replace each of them separately.
Nuts of fastening of a clip tighten in regular intervals till the moment 40 Нм.

At installation use a new lining.

At installation of system of release of the fulfilled gases the distance between the central muffler and a cross-section beam in a free condition should make (193) mm (fig. 5.3–15).
The distance between forward pipes of the central muffler and a cross-section beam in a free condition should make on front-wheel cars of 31,5 mm, on all-wheel drive – 29,5 mm.
Connect new section of the muffler with old and connect their collar, having arranged it so that the bottom edge of its bolt of fastening settled down at level of a pipe of mufflers.
